The Cen Group's efforts to develop and fund ethical community projects does not stop at the locales in London. We have expanded to West Africa (Ghana) to provide a community give-back project, focused on taking care of the environment.
As much as we are doing our part, within our own country and community, the ecosystem goes beyond our country.
Ghana is home to one of the biggest fishing industries, which many people of the country are reliant on. But unfortunately, things have become increasingly difficult for the coastal communities, who are suffering the consequences of the damage caused by plastic pollution.Their beautiful beaches are being used as a dumping ground for rubbish and old clothes. Yet again, plastic features prominently among this debris
Our solution…. The CenGiving beach clean up
This initiative involves helps locals within these affected communities by financially rewarding them to clear up the beaches. These locals are given all the resources and equipment necessary to clean up their beach and local areas, so they are able to live in a cleaner and litter free environment. We are also developing new initiatives to recycle the waste into products to provide a sustainable eco-friendly approach to waste management.
